Who is eligible for Online Personal Training?

Just about anyone and everyone seeking fitness support is eligible for online services however we encourage clients to pursue traditional in-gym personal training if you prefer a more hands-on experience assisted by a professional which involves interaction by visualization.  If you decide to try online services please consider the three statements below:

  1. Clients and coaches will need to appropriately input exercises along with important notes on a shareable data computer application.   There are a lot of  fitness applications available today but many of them are for personal use only.  To successfully coordinate an online personal training service, the application must have the feature to share data between both the client and coach. EFITX has an interface that makes this process almost effortlessly.  Communication can be done verbally or through email or SMS however this method is non-efficient and could lead to more miscommunications thus tediously more work for both the client and trainer.  
  2. Clients must have the discipline to workout frequently.   Having an appointment at a gym holds strong accountability.  This persuasively contributes to more shows to workout sessions. Mobile push notification reminders to workout can alleviate missed workouts but this method has yet to be proven effective.
  3. Clients should attempt to master proper form of exercises. Many clients rely on their coach to make the adjustments simultaneously during a workout session, which will not be easily available for online services unless video conferencing is applied.

What should be expected?

SUMMARY OF SERVICES

  1. Quarterly In-Person Fitness Consultation and Assessment 55 minutes. 
  2. Weekly, at least two created workouts customized or adjusted to needs
  3. Twice per month a detailed analysis report of workout progress.
  4. Multiple responses to your fitness questions (limited to 30 minutes total duration monthly)

 

FITNESS CONSULTATION - 55 minutes duration

  1. Meet for Fitness Assessment
  2. I will evaluate your fitness level and design a 12 week program
  3. This program is not a fixed schedule generic program.   It will need to be adjusted accordingly to your progress.
  4. Read all details of the program

What should be expected continued...

EACH CREATED WORKOUT -  (up to 15 minutes of work from coach )

  1. Coach will first evaluate your historic data to determine the appropriate exercises for your workout and program.
  2. Next is to confirm or adjust the load and reps of each exercise along with adjusting the proper sequence.
  3. You access the workout when ready 
    1. Log into EfitX, go to weights, press  “Need Suggestions”
    2. Based on your gym constraints or limited time (if any) select all the exercises that are feasible for this workout.
      1. Perform the required warm up
      2. There are videos if you forgot how to perform the exercise
      3. The Load and Reps are assigned based on coach discretion or historic data
      4. Read any notes provided
      5. Perform the Cool down
  4. Provide feedback of your workout
  5. Next step is to evaluate the data of your workout and reply with feedback on your performances and to answer any questions.
  6. There will be emphasis to stay on-track of your volume goals and adjustments to sets,reps or loads accordingly to meet volume goals. 
  7. Cardio exercise performed will be monitored as reminders may apply as well.

BI-WEEKLY ANALYSIS - (up to 30 minutes of work from coach )

After viewing historic data and analytics, coach can determine imbalances within your routine.  EfitX counts movement types, movement in planes and appropriate exercises that are ideal for your program.  With this data, adjustments to routines will be made in order to optimize the workout program. 

ADDITIONAL SERVICES UPON REQUEST

  • Create 2 nutrition menus of recommended food items
  • Analyze your food journal to see if a nutrient is lacking and make suggestions.
  • Analyze the amount of calories in your journal
  • You can request a customized instructional video created for a specific exercise.
